Letter Supporting the "Smart Heart Act."

Dear Chairman Bradley:

On behalf of the membership of The South Carolina Education Association (“The SCEA,”) I wish to convey our support for South Carolina House Bill 4866, the Smart Heart Act.  

The SCEA stands behind the provisions as outlined in the Smart Heart Act. We also advise your committee to explore the possibility of installing automated external defibrillators in all middle school and public-school athletic facilities throughout the state.

We encourage members of the subcommittee to give the Smart Heart Act favorable report, and to support the bill in full committee.
